Centrifugal overhung pumps К , 1К series and electric pump units on their base (hereinafter referred to as the units) are intended for pumping process water (except for sea water), as well as other liquids similar to water in density, viscosity and chemical activity with рН=6…9, with a content of solid inclusions not exceeding 1% by mass and of size 0,2 mm maximum and at temperature of liquid to be handled from 263 up to 358 К (from minus 10 up to +105°С), some standard sizes - from 263up to 378К (from -10 up to +85°С).
The pumps (units) are related to the items of aspect 1 (repairable ones) as per GOST 27.003-90 and are manufactured in climatic version U3.1 as per GOST 15150-69.
The pumps provided with face sealing of the shaft and furnished with explosion-proof motors are intended for installing in explosion-and-fire dangerous premises. The class of explosion-hazard zone is 1,2 GOST R 51330.9-99.
Pumps and units are supplied for export as per OST 26-06-2011-79.

Pumps 1К series – are centrifugal, horizontal, borehole furnished with a gland seal (i.e. stuffing-box seal) or an end-face seal of the shaft.
The pump casing is a cast iron casting in which suction and discharge nozzles, the spiral & ring-shaped bend (bleed fitting) and supporting foot are executed. Suction and discharge nozzles is arranged along the axis of rotation, the outlet branch pipe is directed vertically upwards and is positioned in the same plane with the axis of rotation.
The impeller – is centrifugal, single-suction, closed-type. The supply of liquid to the impeller is an axial one.
The impeller is load relieved from axial stresses on the pumps having a nominal diameter of the impeller of 200-315mm through the discharge openings (equalizing holes) executed on the main disk of the impeller, but on the pumps having a nominal diameter of the impeller of 160mm – by the blade made on the main disk of the impeller.
The rotor of the pump is put in rotation by electric motor through the coupling with rubber-bushed studs. It is admitted to use other types of couplings. Two radial thrust bearings arranged in the bracket are served as rotor supports.
The sense of rotor rotation – is clockwise, as viewed from the drive end.
Mounting dimensions of the flanges are made as per GOST 12815-80, type 1.
