"Lotsman+" - 160 - Control and protection station "Lotsman+"

Control and protection station (C&PS) Lotsman+ is intended for protection of three-phase asynchronous electric motors and for automation of a process of filling liquids in containers and comply with the Technical Specifications BEP.001.00.000TU.

Control and protection station Lotsman+ provides:

• protection of three-phase asynchronous electric motors:
  • motor protection against current overload/current underload;
  • motor protection against phase loss or phase shift;
  • motor protection against voltage rise/dip;
  • motor protection against earth fault;
  • protection of the electric motor and pump against 'dry operation'.
• automatic control of the submersible pumps in a process of filling/drainage liquids in containers – the unit automatically maintains the level of water in the collection tank
• automatic drainage of drain pits by using level sensors. Selection of used sensors type –electric-contact manometer (EKM) or single contact level sensors.
• C&PS Lotsman+ is intended for use at ambient air temperature from minus 40°С up to plus 40°С with upper value of relative air humidity up to 80% without sweating.

The C&PS Lotsman+ is related to the third-order items and is an automation device.

Protection degree of C&PS Lotsman+ against water and dust IP 20 (IP 31) as per GOST 14254-96, climatic version UHL location category 2 as per GOST 15150-69.

Electric shock protection degree of C&PS Lotsman+: 1st class as per GOST 12.2.007.0 -75.

The Control and protection station consists of the control panel with removable wiring board, which accommodate automatic circuit breaker, microcontroller, contactor, two terminal-blocks (power and signaling blocks), current transformers and signal light-emitting diode.

The hole for installing the earthing bolt is located on the left side of the control panel.

The buttons 'Start' and 'Stop', the three-digit LED indicator and light-emitting diodes of level sensors are positioned on the cover face of the microcontroller

The lower and upper surfaces of the microcontroller are provided with terminal arrangement to connect outer power circuits and sensors.

The operating principle: processing of signals from outside sources through the instrumentality of the microcontroller and contactor work to switch in/off the electric motor.
