Function

2VV pumps and electric pump units on their base are intended for pumping nonreactive liquids within a wide range of viscosities, including water-gas-oil mixtures with gas content up to 90% by weight.

Pumps being parts of the electric pump units are related to the items of general purpose (ION) aspect I (repairable) as per GOST 27.003 90, and are manufactured in climatic version U, location category 2 as per GOST 15150-69. At the Customer's request it is possible to manufacture pumps in another climatic version. In design work the safety requirements as per OST26-06-2028-96 and also the norms and rules of Rostechnadzor (Russian Technical Supervision) as per PB08-624-03, PB09-540-03, PB09-563-03 have been taken into account.

Units may be used for servicing in explosion-and fire hazard premises.


Design

Pump unit consists of twin-screw pump and electric motor mounted on a common foundation frame. Connection between motor and pump is made through the sleeve coupling. Coupling is provided with protective housing.

Pump – is a positive displacement horizontal machine. Two synchronously revolving rotors having special thread are arranged in the bores of the pump shell. Replaceable shell is inserted into the welded casing of the pump.

Rotation from the driving rotor is transmitted to the driven one via the timing gears. Rotors are supported by bearings taken outside from the hydraulic part of the pump.

At the butt ends the working chamber is closed by spacers or bearing bodies, and the shafts are sealed by end-face seals.

Sense of rotation of the driving rotor – left-handed (counterclockwise), if viewed from the electric motor end.

To protect the bearings against ingress of pumped liquid, provision is made in the pumps for doubled cuffs.

The dosing oil cups are arranged on the bearing bodies to cool and lubricate the cuffs.

At the Customer's request the units may be completed by soft start device, frequency converter, control & protection systems regulating pressure at the pump inlet and outlet, the bearings' temperature of the pump and motor, and rotational speed.


Application

  • oil and gas extracting companies at pumping of oil-water-gas content fluids for pressure decrease on well head, for the purpose of reduction of harmful effects by environment because of effective use of associated gas and exception of its flame ignition
  • oil and gas extracting companies at pumping of oil-water-gas content fluids for effective development of remote oil fields on which there is no possibility of arrangement in the traditional way, for the purpose of increase term of wells operation, because of possibility of pumping of gas locks that leads to decrease of operational costs and simplify of control of development both new, and old fields
  • in technological oil refinery processes at the petrochemical enterprises, for pumping of mazut, tar, vacuum gasoil in which high pressure (up to 40 kg/cm2) is required
