Function

Centrifugal condensate pumps 1Кs series and electric pump units on their base are intended for handling condensate or fresh water having a рН value = 6.8...9,2, and containing solid impurities with a concentration not exceeding 5 mg/l and with a maximum size of up to 0,1 mm.

The pumps (units) are used in a steam-and-water supply lines of the electric power stations, which burn organic fuel.

The pumps (units) are related to items of aspect 2, restorable ones as per GOST 27.003-90.

General safety requirements for pumps and units are correspond to GOST R 52743-2007.

Pumps are manufactured in climatic version «UHL», location category 4 and in climatic version «Т», location category 2 as per GOST 15150-69.

1Кs pumps and electric pump units on their base are not intended for servicing in explosion-and-fire hazard productions.


Design

The unit consists of a pump and a driven motor, mounted on a common baseplate and connected with elastic coupling with rubber-bushed studs for the pumps 1Кs32, 1Кs50 and 1Кs80 and by means of elastic coupling provided with a sprocket just for the pump 1Кs20.

1Кs pump - centrifugal horizontal sectional with one-sided arrangement of the impellers.

The suction nozzle is arranged in the suction body and is directed to the right off the horizontal axis of the pump as viewed from the drive end. The delivery nozzle is arranged in the delivery body and is directed vertically upward.

The air-tightness of field joints of the sections, suction body, screw conveyer case and delivery body is ensured by rings made out of the heat-resistant rubber.

The rotor of the pump consists of a shaft, impellers, screw conveyer, balance drum (in 1Кs20 pumps), bushings, sealing components and fasteners.

1Кs20 is relieved from axial thrusts by way of the drum. 1Кs50, 1Кс32 and 1Кd80 pumps are provided with impellers being relieved. The residual axial thrusts are taken up by the bearing.

The sense of rotation for 1Кs20pumps - right-hand (clockwise), for 1Кs50, 1Кs32 and 1Кs80 pumps - left-hand (counter-clockwise), if viewed from the motor side.

The final seals of the pump – are stuffing box seals.
