Burun PF progressing cavity electric pump is intended for pumping water with mechanical admixtures up to 5% by weight and up to 2 mm in size and other mixed liquids with viscosity up to 2000 MPa, with temperature up to 35°С, at short-time operation (up to 10 minutes) - temperature up to 70°С.
Electric pump can be used for pumping out of seepage water, rainwater and wasted water from sewage holes, and also for pumping of different solutions and suspensions.
Pump is manufactured in single-phase version rated for 220 V and in three-phase version rated for 380V.

Electric pump is a portable monoblock consisting of the electric motor and pump part.
The pump part consists of the progressing cavity pump. The operative parts of the pump are pump casing, working screw rigidly fixed on the motor shaft, and rubber shell secured by the support. Attached to the support is a quick-detachable filter.
The working screw of the pump is provided with single-start thread, its any cross-section is a circle, the centre of which is shift relatively to the axis by magnitude of eccentricity.
The shell has double-start helical surface the stroke of which is equal to double lead of screw.
During rotation of the screw in the shell the liquid is displaced between the screw and the shell: thus ensuring flow from a pump.
The asynchronous electric motor of single-phase or three-phase version is used to drive the pump.
Electric motor includes: rotor, stator, pipe, bearing shield and cover.
The electric pump of one-single phase is put in operation by means of the starting device.
Electric pump of three-phase version is connected to the mains by power cord through the automatic circuit breaker with compound splitter adjusted for the nominal current of the electric motor used.
The inner cavity of the electric motor, if viewed from the projecting shaft end, is separated from the flow passage by end-face seal and the cuff being pressed in the bearing shield. The cooling of the motor is effected due to heat emission into surrounding pumped medium.
