Function

К80-50-200-Е centrifugal overhung pump and electric pump units on its base are intended for handling petroleum products at a viscosity of up to 10-4 m²/s (100 sSt) and at a temperature ranging from 253 to 358К (from minus 20 to +85°С), with a content of solids not exceeding 0,2% by mass and not exceeding 0,2 mm in size.

The pumps (units) are identified as articles of aspect 1(restorable ones) as per GOST 27.003-90 and are fabricated in climatic version U3.1 and Т2 as per GOST 15150-69.

The pumps are admitted for operation in explosion-hazard productions in which the formation of mixtures of the gases and vapours with air is possible, provided the said mixtures are related to the category IIA, IIB and to the explosion-hazard groups Т1, Т2, Т3 and Т4 as per ГОСТ Р 51330.19-99. The pumps which are related to T4 explosion-hazard group may be admitted for operation only if they are equipped with double end-face seals of the shaft, the rest of the pumps are furnished with a single end-face seal having an auxiliary cuff.

It is admitted to install the pumps in explosion-hazard zones of the following classes: V-Iа, V-Ib, V-Ig, V-IIA, II-1 and II-II.


Design

Pump К-Е – is a centrifugal, horizontal, cantilever pump provided with double end-face seal of the shaft or equipped with a single end-face seal together with an auxiliary cuff.

The pump case is a steel casting in which the inlet and outlet branch pipes, spiral chamber and supporting legs are executed. Pump inlet is aligned with the axis of rotation; the outlet branch pipe is directed vertically upward and is arranged in one plane with the axis of rotation of the impeller.

Attached to the pump case is a flange of the cast iron bracket, in which bore provision is made for ball-bearing supports of the shaft. To avoid sparking, the covers fixing the bearings are cast out of bronze.

Arranged between the case and the bracket is a steel diaphragm or a steel body of the seal, in which the double end-face seal or the single end-face seal together with an auxiliary cuff are fitted.

The centrifugal impeller is a casting made out of bronze. The impeller is fixed on the shaft by means of the key and fairing. The impeller is relieved from the action of axial thrust.

The pump and motor shafts are connected by elastic coupling, which is protected by guard.

The sense of shaft rotation – clockwise, as viewed from the drive end.

Electric motor should be explosion-proof.


Application

  • at oil refining plants for pumping of oil products (gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel)
  • at petrochemical and oil refining productions in technological lines for fuel supply and pumping of oil products in conditions of explosion-dangerous productions on which formation of explosion-dangerous mixes of gases and vapor with air is possible
  • at petroleum storage depots for reception and release of oil products
  • in systems of oil extraction
