Function

Pumps CVK and units on their basis are intended for pumping of water and other neutral liquids with the kinematic viscosity up to 36*10-6 m²/s (36sSt), density of not more than 1200 kg/m³, with the content of solid particles not more than 0,01% by weight and the size of particles not more than 0,05 mm.

The pumped water temperature is from 258 up to 378 К (from minus 15 up to +105°С).

Pumps (units) are related to the items of aspect 1 (repairable ones) as per GOST 27.003-90 and fabricated in climatic version U3.1 under GOST 15150-69.

The pumps are not to be used for pumping of flammable and highly-inflammable liquids.

The pumps (units) are manufactured in version for explosion-and-fire hazardous industries.


Design

The unit consists of the coupling with rubber-bushed studs, inclined rotor pump of CVK type, electric motor, mounted on the common frame.

Inclined rotor pumps of CVK type – are two-stage, overhung pumps driven by the electric motor through the coupling.

Vortex impeller with the liners is essentially a high-pressure pump stage, where the hydraulic pressure head is imparted to the liquid being handled. The centrifugal impeller is held against axial movement and the vortex impeller is floating one.

Liquid is admitted from the centrifugal impeller to the vortex impeller through the passage arranged in the cover.

Pump shaft runs in two ball bearing boxes fitted in the bores of casing.

In order to prevent seepage along the pump shaft the provision is made for the end-face seal.

Sense of rotor rotation is right-handed (clockwise), if viewed from the drive end.

Mounting dimensions of flanges – as per – GOST12815-80.

  • feeding of boilers of low power on heat supply objects
  • circulation of heat-transfer agent in heat supply systems at enterprises of housing and communal services
  • pressure maintenance in water supply systems of inhabited and industrial objects
